Pregnancy Fun...

Well last week was quite interesting. The doctor had given me anti-nausea medicine on Tuesday, all seemed to be going well and I started feeling better. Well I woke up Thursday morning around 2:30am and my face was swelled up and I looked like a chipmunk!! So I took some Benedryl and went back to bed. When I woke up in the morning my face was swollen even more so I went in to see the doctor. He was not sure if it was a reaction to the anti-nausea medicine or if I had the mumps. Well I had blood work done to check to see if I had the mumps (results not back yet, although my mother does not think so since I was not sick) and he put me on steroids. On Friday I woke still swollen so I called my Endocrinologist and he ordered my blood work to make sure all of my levels were good (results not back yet).

So needless to say I have been sick again but at least the swelling seems to be gone. Sorry I did not take any funny pics of me!!

Go back to the doctor tomorrow and hopefully they will know what caused everything and maybe they can give me a different kind of medicine to help with the nausea. We will see!!
